Praising God in the Midst of Difficulties

A thought which came up from my mind during the Leaders’ Meeting last Tuesday

“Though the fig tree should not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold and there be no cattle in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk 3:17-18, NASB, emphasis added)

Somehow I think praising God in the midst of difficulty is much more difficult than praying.

Praying is somewhat easier as the word we want to say really comes out from our heart.

In contrast, the lyrics in praise song may not match your heart condition.

Hmmm… tough…

Maybe that’s why praise is called language of faith because faith often is the opposite of our current situation (i.e. fact).

I do not know. Let’s just see how well I can praise God when I am down…

Or maybe, I need to find another reason why I praise God: for who He is..

Sorry, I know this is a messy post..
