CHC Trial 13-17 January 2014: Summary Video

Initially I was wondering why there was no longer daily video posted by City News team.
It turned out that they posted one video as summary of this week trials.
I salute them for being so committed in their ministry duty.
DNA of CHC, that’s why ~ ~ ~
Well, I should not lose to them when it comes to ministry duty.
I shall professionally tend to the bookstore ~ ~ ~

Pastor Kong’s Sermon 11, January, 2014: The Blessing of Abraham (2)

James 2:23
Abraham was called the friend of God. What can we learn from Abraham’s life?

1.) Faith in God.
Even though he did not know where to go, Abram believed in God.

2.) friend of God
Isa 41:8
Friend = passionate lover. He was so in love with God.
He was known as Abraham of God Most High. God, in turn, was pleased to be known as the God of Abraham.

3.) the favor of God
Favor doesn’t mean no challenges.
Abraham had much family squabble. Yet, he still found favor with God.
Favor means “given preferential treatment”.
Joseph received favor from Potiphar as Joseph carried God’s presence.
We need favor so we can win the lost for God (Acts 2:46-47).

Hmm, somehow the interview session with the 11th witness was pretty short.
Tan Yew Meng is one of CHC trustees.
In his opinion, he saw nothing wrong in using building fund money as investment.
In fact, he would not have objected a loss in investment as long as the Crossover Project could get people to accept Lord Jesus.
That’s the way to go!!! Thank you for supporting the leaders! Open-mouthed smile Open-mouthed smile Open-mouthed smile

The 12th witness used to be an auditor in CHC, Sim Guan Seng.
Friday afternoon session was just like an introduction to what he did as an auditor.
The real deal will start next week.
Mr. Sim, please support the leaders too, ok? Winking smile Winking smile Winking smile
