Getting to Know God

“The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
– Daniel 11:32 (KJV) –

Suppose you who have someone precious to you.
Can be a good friend, a family member or life partner.
What is the best way to get to know him/her?
Certainly you won’t know by just hearing about him/her.
Certainly not by observing him/her from afar and forming your own conclusion.
Certainly not by reading a book about him/her, if there is any.

What is the best way to get to know him/her?
By spending time. By fellowshipping with that person.
Certainly, getting to know the person first hand is always better than receiving a second hand information.
No matter how busy you are, that person always occupies high priority in your schedule.
Why? Because he/she is precious to you.

What is the best way to get to know God?
Certainly we won’t know by just hearing about Him.
Certainly not by observing Him from afar and forming our own conclusion.
Certainly not by reading a book about Him, though there are plenty.

What is the best way to know God/?
By spending quality time in His presence. By having daily quiet time.
God is precious to us. Hence, we must always prioritize the fellowship time with Him.

Some of us may be too busy at times to have quiet time.
Hopefully, that is just for a moment.
If we continuously do not have regular quiet time with God, probably we should ask ourselves.

Is God really precious to us?
