Sharing the Message of the Gospel

"Trusting a fool to convey a message is like cutting off one’s feet or drinking poison!"
– (Proverb 26:6, NLT) –

What do the fool do when they are entrusted with a message?
– They do not deliver it at all
– They deliver it late
– They deliver it partially
– They distort the message

It is like cutting off one’s feet or drinking poison.
In other words, the person who entrusts the message to the fool feels hurt and disappointed.

Surely, we can find such people around us who are unreliable when we ask them to deliver a message.
But now, let us examine ourselves.

Lord Jesus has entrusted the message of the Gospel to us.
What do we do about it?
– Do we stop sharing  the Gospel to the people around us? (e.g. do we think it is not important?)
– Do we delay in sharing it? (E.g. do we think it is not urgent?)
– Do we deliver partial Gospel? (E.g. do we preach salvation without the need of repentance?)
– Do we distort the message altogether? (e.g. do we believe there are many ways to get to heaven other than Lord Jesus?)

We can either please or disappoint Him with the way we convey the message of the Gospel.
It will determine as well whether we seem wise or foolish before Him.

The choice is ours to make.
Let us choose carefully.
