The Prince of Peace

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder:
and His name shall be called… the Prince of Peace
Isaiah 9:6

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your request be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7

Christmas is the celebration of Lord Jesus who is the Prince of Peace.
He offers peace to those who believe in Him. (John 14:27)
Through Him we have peace with Father God (Rm 5:1).
He even calls peace to calm the storm (Mark 4:39).

We may have many plans to celebrate Christmas.
Be it catching up with friend and families, shopping, eating, resting or even serving in ministry.
Nevertheless, it is a good idea to spend personal time with Lord Jesus and meditate upon His birth.

Since we have accepted Lord Jesus, He is born in our heart too.
Whatever anxiety or fear, we can always bring to Him in prayer.
His peace then fills our heart and mind.
We do not need to feel anxious or fearful anymore, knowing He cares for us.

Don’t let Christmas pass by without us really experiencing the peace from the Prince of Peace.
