Pastor Kong’s Sermon 7, January, 2017 Imagination of The Unseen Realm

2 Cor 5:7
We walk by faith, not by sight.
If others have not done it or said it is difficult, we often feel discouraged.

Egypt speaks of limitation.
Israelites lived as slaves for 400 years.
Even when Israelites came out of Egypt, they still thought as slaves.
They could not think of themselves living in the Promised Land.

Gen 13:14-17
Abraham had to believe God’s promise.

We need to stretch our thinking.
Don’t be limited by what the world says.
We live based on the promise of God.

Our feet will never take us to  the where our mind has not been.

If we cannot see ourselves living free of debt or depression, we will live permanently in debt or depression.
We always move in our most dominant thought.

If I want to change my life, I must think differently.
Whatever we think, we end up believing.
Whatever we believe, we end up thinking.

85% of our daily life is based on subconscious thought
Life will not change until our thinking changes.
We cannot change from outside in. We change from inside out.

The Bible talks about success. It is not about things. It is about our mind

Mark 7:20
It is the thought-life that pollutes.

We renew our mind according to the word of God.
Dreams relate to thought. Vision thought to imagination.

2 Cor 10:3-4
Strong hold = any thinking contrary to the word of God. Perhaps how we  were taught, perhaps opinion from others.
God gave us mighty weapons.
2 Cor 10:5
Our imagination is very powerful.

We have the ability to dream God’s dream.

Genesis 11:6
If we can imagine our lives in certain way, all the resources we need will present and manifest themselves.

Isaiah 46:10
God Himself declared the end from the beginning. He imagines our end.
We join God in our dreams and visions.

We imagine and imagine until the moment we close our eyes, we can see ourselves living in God’s promise.

2 Cor 4:16
Our body contains 100 millions receptor. Our mind contains 10 trillions receptor. We are more equipped to think of the spiritual than the natural.
2 Cor 4:17-18
Our affliction will soon be over.
To make our affliction light, we must focus on things not seen.
Our situation can and will change as long as we focus on our destination.

We must start with the end in mind.
God gives us His word that we may see the  end of our lives.
Jer 29:11
God gives us expected end.

Rm 3:3-4
It does nor matter if others do not believe.
God says it, we believe it, that settles it.

1 Pet 1:3-5
We have undefiled, incorruptible inheritance in heaven.
Our inheritance is revealed through faith.
What is our inheritance package?

Rev 5:9-10
We are kings and priests. All of us reign on the earth.
Rev 5:11-12
Lord Jesus actually does not need all the 7 doxology.
However, we are joint heir with Christ.

These 7 doxology is for us.
