CHC Trial 22, May, 2013 (Day 5): Praise and Lesson

Wednesday morning the defense started with cross examining Mr. Koh Siow Ngea.
They brought up several issues like whether Xtron suffered losses and connection between Xtron and CHC.

Now this is where I am confused.
On Tuesday, the media mentioned CHC controlled Xtron as Mr. Koh did not know some of the goings-on in the company.
On Wednesday, Mr. Koh mentioned he exercised some judgment over Xtron’s decisions.
Erm, maybe they should  go over one by one decision Xtron made to determine whether or not Xtron is separate from CHC?
Anyway, I still don’t see anything wrong even if Xtron is ‘controlled’ by the church.
After all, eventually no money is lost.

The prosecution argued on Tuesday Xtron was not a viable business as it had suffered losses.
The defense argued on Wednesday Xtron was a viable business as the loss was just the initial production cost.
Xtron is still many clients beside CHC, the defense showed.
Errm, is it just me?? If it is not a viable business, then how can it give back investment+interest to CHC?

Anyway, City News has made a very heartening news.
In the midst of the heat of trial, Mr. Koh testified he wholeheartedly supported Cross Over Project.
He also agreed with  the advance rental paid to Xtron being used to buy Firna bonds.
Well, personally I don’t understand this advanced rental paid.
However, I should just support this as Mr. Koh himself saw some investment logic in it which ordinary people like me don’t Smile with tongue out

It was also revealed that Pastor Kong, Pastor Tan, Chew Eng Han, Mr. Koh and Wahyu Hanafi became guarantors of Crossover project.
I salute these brave men of God!
I believe the Lord would honor their courage to stand for His work!

Anyway, from all the trial, I have seen the obvious application of Proverb 18:17
”In a lawsuit the first to speak seems right, until someone comes forward and cross-examines.”

Go go go, defense team! God is with you all!
